Why open source
A telephone assistant should be inspectable before it is trusted.
The Preview is intended to let engineers inspect the state model, policy boundary, provider adapters, local evidence and failure behavior. It should also make it easier for smaller organizations to start locally and choose their own providers.
Planned Preview scope
What the first public version is intended to include
- VoiceDesk service source and versioned schemas.
- Local Reception Center and engineering demonstration surfaces.
- Provider-neutral dialogue, speech and model-routing boundaries.
- Twilio-compatible ingress and synthetic adapters without credentials.
- Controlled knowledge, policy, ledger and evidence tooling needed by the public workflows.
- Installation, local-run and claim-matched validation instructions.
Deliberately excluded
What public source will not silently promise
- Customer credentials, phone numbers, private hostnames, live callback URLs or local machine paths.
- Production customer data, enterprise policies or representative call recordings.
- Managed deployment credentials, proprietary customer connectors or service commitments.
- Production performance, compliance certification, uptime or support merely because source is visible.
Commercial path
Open core, paid responsibility where organizations need it.
Planned commercial work includes deployment, integration, tenant identity, enterprise data grounding, custom workflows, provider migration, monitoring, operations and support. The customer owns its data and service policy; EVEMISS can operate the platform without becoming a traditional outsourced call center by default.
Until the license and public derivation pass their release gate, follow the engineering status rather than treating this page as a download promise.
